Paging and sync

Read long lists with cursors, keep a copy up to date with updated_since, and catch deletions.

Switched on per organisationThis is built and working, and is switched on for each organisation on request. Ask your account manager, or reply to any email from us naming it.

Paging

Lists return up to 100 rows by default, or up to 500 with limit, along with has_more and next_cursor. Repeat the same request with cursor=<next_cursor> and the same filters until has_more is false. Treat the cursor as opaque.

/v1/leave-types and /v1/holidays are not paged, and do not take limit or cursor.

Keeping a copy up to date

updated_since returns records changed at or after the time you give, so a sync only fetches what moved.

Deletions

Deleted records are not returned, and updated_since only returns records that still exist. If you sync with updated_since, also run a full refresh regularly (daily is plenty) so people and bookings deleted in Alltoogether drop out of your copy.
