Health check-in and deep dives
The optional quarterly health check-in and the longer topic assessments, what you do and what you see.
Alongside the fortnightly check-in, the My Wellbeing area of the Alltoogether app has two longer, optional sets of questions. The health check-in covers everyday health and comes round each quarter. A deep dive is a longer assessment on a single topic.
Where to find it
My Wellbeing in the Alltoogether app. Both live in the full app, so if your employer uses the check-in on its own you will not see them.
The health check-in
The health check-in is optional. Open it from the Health check-in card on My Wellbeing; the card shows how many questions there are, and the questions open in a window over the page.
When it is due, a banner on My Wellbeing (and on your home page) names it, says how many days it has been since you last did it, or that you never have, and has a button to start.
The screen tells you your answers are confidential and that your employer never sees your individual answers. If you answered the overall health and sleep questions in your welcome survey, you are not asked them again here.
Once you have completed it, it cannot be completed again within 60 days.
Answering
One question per screen, with a progress bar. Depending on the question you tap one option, choose a number, or tick every option that applies before you continue. Each answer is saved before the next question appears.
You can use Back to return to an earlier question and change your answer. The new answer replaces the old one.
Finishing the health check-in records the date you completed it, which is how the app knows when the next one is due. It never earns coins or rewards.
Afterwards
Your answers appear under the Health check-in tab of Your answers, visible only to you.
Your employer sees a small set of whole-organisation figures from the health check-in, each only once five or more people have answered. Questions about mood and anxiety never reach your employer in any form.
Deep dives
A deep dive is a longer assessment on one topic. You reach one from a link on My Wellbeing or on the screen you see after finishing a check-in.
Before you start, you see the assessment's name, a short description, how many questions it has and roughly how long it takes, with a Start assessment button.
When you finish, the last screen always lists free UK support, whatever you answered: NHS talking therapies, Samaritans, Mind and ACAS, with phone numbers and links, and a reminder to call 999 if you are in immediate danger. Once you have finished a deep dive it is not offered to you again.
If a link points to an assessment that is no longer available, you see "Survey not found" with a link back to My Wellbeing.
Good to know
- If no health check-in questions have been set up for your organisation, the card cannot be opened, and the health check-in page says "No questions configured for this survey yet" with a link back.
- Your employer's admin portal has no screen that shows an individual person's answers to either. See Privacy.

No. It is optional, and you start it only if you choose to.
No. It asks more questions on one topic and ends with free support you can contact, whatever you answered.
