The check-in
What the fortnightly wellbeing check-in asks, how it reaches you, and what happens when you finish.
Every fortnight your employer's Intelligent Wellbeing Engine asks you three short questions about work and how you are doing. You tap a number for each one, and that is it. Your answers join an anonymous picture of the whole organisation, and your employer never sees them on their own.
Where to find it
The link in your check-in email. If your employer uses the full Alltoogether app, the Check in tile under My Wellbeing opens the same check-in.
How it reaches you
When a new round opens you get an email with a link that takes you straight into the check-in. Opening the link shows a short page with a button to continue, then your first question. The check-in page has no menus or other parts of the app on it, only the questions.
If you have never answered before, the email says your welcome survey is ready instead. The link is the same; the first time, it opens the welcome survey.
The email may carry a short note from someone at your employer, with their name and role. Every check-in email also has support numbers in its footer and, where your employer has set one up, a link to a page listing the support they provide.
If you have not answered 48 hours after the round opened, you get one reminder email. That is the last one for the round. If you have already answered, you get no reminder.
The questions
Each round has three questions. Two are the same every time: how able you feel to do your job, and burnout. The third rotates. It is whichever topic you have gone longest without answering, so colleagues may get a different third question. Once you start a round, your three questions stay fixed.
Each question appears on its own, with a plain topic label above it (for example "Work ability" or "Job satisfaction") and a row of numbers to tap. There are no sliders and no free text boxes. Tapping a number saves your answer and moves you to the next question.
If you answer from two devices, your answer is only counted once.
When you finish
The last screen thanks you and explains that your answers join an anonymous picture of the whole organisation. You may also see a short tip for the week. Everyone who checks in that week sees the same tip; it is chosen by the date and nothing else.
If you use the full Alltoogether app, the screen also tells you that your own answers over time are on your wellbeing page.
Support lines sit at the bottom of every check-in screen, whatever you answered. See Support.
Other things you might see
| On screen | What it means |
|---|---|
| No check-in open right now | The last round has closed. You will get an email when the next fortnightly round opens. |
| All caught up | A round is open but you have already answered everything in it. |
| Check-ins aren't running here yet | Your employer has not switched the check-in on. |
Good to know
- You never earn coins or rewards for checking in. Rewards for answering would bias the answers.
- An old bookmark to the previous check-in page still works. It takes you to the current check-in.
- On the home page, the check-in tile shows Done for this round once you have answered.
Questions
No. The check-in never shows you a score, a trend or a comparison with anyone else. Your own answers over time are on Your answers.
No. Your employer sees only figures for the whole organisation, and only once five or more people have answered. See Privacy.
Yes, while the round is open. Use the reminder email, or the Check in tile in the app if your employer uses it.
