Getting in and getting help

How to sign in, how a join link works, how to reach the Alltoogether team from the app, and where to find your organisation's support page.

Part of every platformThis has no switch. Every organisation has it.

This page covers getting into the app, and where to turn when you are stuck. For help, you can chat with the Alltoogether team inside the app, or open the page your employer keeps of the support available to you, which needs no sign-in.

There is no password. You sign in with your work email and a one-time link.

Go to app.alltoogether.com, type your work email and press Continue.

Open the email we send you and click the link.

Press the button on the page that opens to finish signing in.

The last step is there so that email security scanners, which sometimes open links automatically, cannot use your link up before you do.

You do not need an invitation first. If your email address is on your employer's records, a link is sent. The page shows the same message either way, so nobody can use it to check who works where. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, look in your junk folder.

If you open a link that has already been used or has expired, you are taken back to the sign-in page with a message saying so. Enter your email again for a fresh link. If you click a link twice while already signed in, you simply carry on.

To sign out, use the Sign out button in Settings.

Some employers share a join link, for example in an email or on a poster. It adds you to your organisation on the platform.

If you are not signed in, enter your email, tick the box to accept the terms and privacy notice, and we email you a sign-in link that brings you back to the same page. If you are signed in, tick the box and press Join. Nothing happens until you do.

A few things can stop a join link working:

  • Join links expire after 30 days, or earlier if your employer withdraws one. An expired link says so; ask whoever shared it for a new one.
  • If you are already on the list, the page confirms it and links you to your check-in.
  • If your email already belongs to someone at another organisation on the platform, the link is refused, to stop the same person being added twice. Contact your employer's admin or support@alltoogether.com.

Chat with the Alltoogether team

On for most organisationsMost organisations have this from their first day on the platform.

A help and chat button sits on every screen of the app. It opens a panel with two parts.

The help side searches our help articles. Articles about the page you are on come first, and you can search for anything else.

The chat side is a private conversation with the Alltoogether team. Your employer does not see it. Write as much as you need, up to 4,000 characters per message. Replies appear in the panel while it is open.

The chat panel also lists places to turn if you need to talk to someone now, including Samaritans, Mind and your organisation's employee assistance programme.

Your organisation's support page

Your employer can share a standing support page, a link you can open without signing in. It lists the support services your organisation provides for everyone, such as an employee assistance programme, occupational health, counselling, a GP line, physiotherapy or financial wellbeing help. Each one shows how to reach it: a phone number, a website, an app, an access code or instructions.

It also lists free resources and crisis lines: Samaritans, Mind, NHS 111 and 999.

Nothing on the page is tracked. Nobody can see who opened it or what they looked at. There is a Print button if you want a paper copy, and the button itself does not appear on the printout.

Your employer may post the link where staff will see it, such as a noticeboard, and if your employer runs the wellbeing check-in, the link is at the bottom of each check-in email. If you cannot find it, ask HR.

If something goes wrong

If a page fails to load, you see "Something went wrong" with a Try again button and a link back to your home page. A web address that does not exist shows "Page Not Found", with the same link home. If the problem keeps happening, tell us in the chat.

The accessibility menu on the right edge of every screen, including the sign-in page, can make the app easier to read. See Profile and settings.
