Your Total Reward statement
See the full value of your pay and benefits as one figure, show or hide the numbers, and download a PDF where one is available.
Your Total Reward statement adds up what your employer pays and provides for you in a year and shows it as one figure. Your salary is part of it, and so is everything around it, such as your employer's pension contribution, the cost of the insurance you are covered by, and the value of your annual leave.
Where to find it
Total Reward in the menu.
Reading your statement
The headline at the top is your total annual reward. Below it, numbered cards break that total down:
- Base Salary
- Pension
- Health & Wellbeing
- Protection & Lifestyle
- Time Off, where your employer holds a value for your annual leave
- Additional Benefits, where your employer has added extra items
Each card lists its items with a subtotal. Depending on what your employer records, you might see your annual salary, bonus, commission, overtime, car allowance, your employer's pension contribution, the cost of private medical insurance or life assurance, and the value of your annual leave. Your employer can also add items of its own before publishing, such as a gym membership.
Under the cards, Plus, there's more lists things your employer offers that are valued but harder to put a price on, such as flexibility or development opportunities.
The Go to Benefits Hub button takes you to your benefits, where you can see the policies behind the insurance figures.
Show and hide your figures
Every amount starts blurred, because people often open their statement in an office or on a train. Select Show figures to see the numbers and Hide figures to blur them again.
The figures go back to hidden each time you open or reload the page. While they are hidden, screen readers do not read them out either.
Download a PDF
If a PDF copy has been attached to your published statement, a Download your reward statement (PDF) button appears and opens it in a new tab. If you do not see the button, there is no PDF for your statement.
When your statement appears
Your HR team prepares statements as drafts, which you cannot see, and publishes them when ready. When yours is published you get a notification in the app and by email saying your statement is ready, with a link straight to it.
If no statement has been published for you, but your record holds your pay details, the page may show a statement built from those details alone. If there is nothing to show at all, the page says "No Reward Statement Available" and suggests checking back later or contacting your HR team.
Good to know
- Your statement is private to you. Other employees cannot see it; in your organisation, only your HR and organisation admins can.
- If your pay changes after your statement is published, the pay figures on it update to match your current record. Nobody needs to reissue it.
- If your HR team takes a statement back to draft, it disappears from your page until it is published again.
Questions
Your HR team. The figures come from your employee record and the policies you are a member of, so the fix is usually to that record. Once it is corrected, the statement follows.
So nobody reads your pay over your shoulder. Select Show figures when you are ready to look.
The page shows your latest published statement. If you need an earlier one, ask your HR team.
