Offers
Browse the offers your employer has switched on, such as cycle to work and salary sacrifice schemes, and open them from your Benefits page.
Offers are voluntary schemes and services your employer has chosen to make available, such as cycle to work, salary sacrifice for an electric car, tech or home items, and money, health, wellbeing, shopping and learning offers. Your employer picks which ones you see.
Where to find it
Benefits, then the Offers tab.
Browse offers
Offers are grouped into categories: Getting around, Money, Health, Wellbeing and support, Shopping, Learning, and Home and tech.
Each offer card shows:
- the partner's name
- a Salary sacrifice badge, where the offer works through your pay
- a short description
- a note from your employer, if they have added one
- a link or a phone number to take it up
Open an offer
Select the link on the card. If the offer is part of the app, it opens in the same tab with a button labelled Open. If it is on a partner's website, the button reads Go to followed by the partner's name, and it opens in a new tab.
Salary sacrifice and your pension (schools and trusts)
If your employer is set up as a school or trust, and at least one of your offers is a salary sacrifice scheme, the Offers tab asks which pension scheme you are in. You can choose Teachers' Pension, Local Government Pension, or Another scheme or none.
Your answer changes a note on salary sacrifice offer cards about how that offer lowers your pensionable pay, worded for the scheme you picked. If you have not answered, the note covers both schemes. Cycle to work offers carry no such note.
The screen tells you that your employer never sees your answer. You can change it at any time.
What is counted
Under the list you will see this line: "We count how many people open each offer. Your employer sees numbers for five or more people, never names."
When fewer than five people have opened an offer, your employer sees no number for it. Offers that are helplines or signposts to other services are not counted at all.
Opening an offer is never slowed down by the count. The link opens straight away.
Good to know
- If the Offers tab is there but has nothing in it, you see "No offers yet. Offers your employer switches on will appear here."
- The Offers tab can also hold the Shop, if your employer has that switched on. The two are separate and either can be on without the other.
- Questions about a specific scheme go to the partner or your HR team.
Questions
No. Your employer sees how many people opened each offer, and only when that number is five or more. Names are never shown.
Each employer chooses which offers to switch on for its own people, so the list differs from one organisation to the next.
